Jo's Stamping Spot - #440 Just Add Something New Blog Hop

Welcome back for 2019! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas break! Today marks the first challenge of the year for the Just Add Ink team and we're kicking it off with a blog hop! You may have arrived from Kelly's blog or are starting with me, either way I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

Jo's Stamping Spot - #440 Just Add Something New Blog Hop

The theme for our blog hop is to just add Something New. My something(s) new came from the brand new Occasions Catalogue which was released on 3rd January!

I chose to use a few new items on my project, can you pick them all? I started with the base of Crumb Cake and used the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies for my white layer stamped with Powder Pink ink using the Incredible Like You stamp set. I've cheated a little because I did get this set back in November but it is new to everyone else, right? I also used this set to stamp my flowers and leaves in Poppy Parade and Old Olive and I think they go very nicely with the Powder Pink background.

I repeatedly stamped a "Happy Birthday" (from the new Itty Bitty Birthdays set) over my Whisper White circle in Soft Sea Foam and layered this on top of a DSP circle in Poppy Parade. I've thrown in some new Whisper White Flax ribbon and the main sentiment is from another new set, one of my faves in the new catalogue, Well Said. I finished the card off with some old retired black rhinestones and some mini sequin trim for my bits of bling.
