Jo's Stamping Spot - Stamp Review Crew - Blessings of Home

Welcome! Today I'm hopping with the Stamp Review Crew, a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the globe who bring you lots of ideas featuring one stamp set each hop twice a month! The 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, you can hop along from one blog to the next gathering all kinds of inspiration for one Stampin' Up! stamp set.

You may have arrived from Debra's blog or started here. Either way, be sure to hop along to see more inspirations by clicking the ‘Next’ button at the end of this post.

Today's hop is using the gorgeous Blessings From Home stamp set. It was the very first stamp set on my wishlist when I saw the new Jan-Jun 2022 Mini Catalogue back in December. The stunning flower images suit my style perfectly and are amazing to colour and the set also has some lovely sentiments to match. Of course matching dies are available in the bundle, making it even more versatile!

Amazingly, even though it was the first set on my wish list, it has taken me until now to actually use it! We've been busy with the kids' summer holidays from school which has not been favourable for my crafty time!

For my project I went simple. I like the subtle look of this stamp set and wanted to try to keep that look in my project. Using some light pinks and yellow tones I watercoloured my flowers on some Fluid 100 paper, gradually getting a little darker as I worked my way to the middle of each flower. I used Crumb Cake for the leaves. Once dry I embossed it with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder, one of my new faves, but you can't really capture this detail in my photos sadly. I finished my card with one of the sentiments, some Crumb Cake twine and some Polished Dots.
