Welcome to a new challenge for Just Add Ink! This week we have challenge #429 suggested by Di and we are adding Vellum!





We have had some really lovely vellum products over the years and I was going to use our new Graceful Glass vellum for my card today but in the end I decided to go with some retired vellum that really made my card pop!

Recently I got the Broadway Birthday bundle and I really wanted to make a birthday card since September/October is crazy busy in our family with birthdays (think killing two birds with one stone *wink*). After so much procrastinating I finally decided the Graceful Glass vellum was not going to work with such a playful birthday suite so I pulled out some retired Silver Fancy Foil Vellum that has beautiful large silver spots, prefect for what I had in mind!

I paired some Bermuda Bay cardstock with some DSP patterns in Coastal Cabana, the new 6" x 6" collection and some old retired Fresh Prints paper stack. I pulled out other items I had in silver, some glimmer paper and some metallic thread, and after layering it all together popped the little embossed sentiment on top. I've so missed Coastal Cabana!
