We seem to be really steaming along this year, can you believe nearly the end of March already! Well, I'm back today with the latest challenge from Just Add Ink. This week we are playing along with a sketch challenge suggested by Tina!
This is such a great sketch as I just love adding layers and textures. This week I've created a 'Sending Love' card with some subtle tones. I've used one of my latest favourite sets Petal Palette.
I coloured in the gorgeous bloom with Pool Party and Old Olive Stampin' Blends and the layer that looks like DSP is just repeat stamping of one of the leaf stamps in Basic Gray Archival onto Whisper White cardstock, such an easy way to create your own when you need an alternate colour!
My texture layer is plain Smoky Slate cardstock embossed with the Petal Pairs embossing folders and I've thrown some of the Basic Gray sparkly ribbon from the new Sale-A-Bration Shimmery Ribbon Pack in between it and the stitched circle. A very quick card to make and I love how it turned out!
I hope you stop on by and check out the other great projects made by the Design Team and I'd love to see you enter!
