Still on to using retiring sets I have another card for you today. This is a 'Thank You' card I made for my Mum to give her nurses after her treatment just recently finished.
My Mum asked me to create a bright and vibrant card that she could give her nurses since most of their days are not so cheery. I chose to use the retiring You've Got This set that has some really lovely flower images. I coloured them in with Blends in Pink Pirouette, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive. I cut them out individually and centered them on the card over an embossed white panel and a stitched oval. I layered them on a base of Sweet Sugarplum and matching ribbon. To finish I white embossed a sentiment from the retired Thoughtful Branches on a banner of Basic Black cardstock.
On the inside I cut and coloured an extra flower in Pink Pirouette and Rich Rich Razzleberry. I also used some washi in Rich Razzleberry leaving plenty of room for Mum to write.
