Hi everyone, today I have a card for you for the latest Just Add Ink challenge!





Unfortunately due to the unbelievable rainy weather we have been having I didn't get to spend the amount of time on this card for this challenge as I wanted to and had a totally different concept in mind. However to make the challenge I had to change path and ended up playing with Daffodil Delight!

I have two different masks happening on my card for this challenge. The first thing I did was stamp the flower onto a piece of Basic White cut to my preferred size for my card front and then this is where my two masks come in. Using the matching die for the lovely Peony I made a mask to cover the flower and then using a scrap piece of paper I roughly tore it down the middle and created my mask for the top and bottom of the White cardstock. Using a Blending Brush I lightly applied Daffodil Delight ink and before removing the mask also dripped around some Daffodil droplets. I removed the two top and bottom leayers leaving the mask over my flower and dripped around some Vegas Gold All-Purpose Ink. Once that was dry I was able to remove my flower mask.

I completed the card by colouring in the Peony with Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody and Granny Apple Green Blends markers, some simple white ribbon, a bit of bling and an embossed sentiment.
