Welcome! I have another new card for you today for the latest Just Add Ink challenge. This week we are playing along to an inspiration picture suggested by Nikki!





This picture has such pretty flowers but alas I have no cactus stamps so I had to try to find something else!

I thought I'd pull out something old so I decided on the Beautiful Branches thinlits which are similar to the current Hydrangea set (which I haven't gotten around to getting yet). I started out with my piece of Fluid 100 paper and did some basic watercolouring using Shaded Spruce reinkers for the stem and I chose some old pinks (Pink Pirouette - still a fave - and Pretty In Pink) for the flowers. I layered some embossed vellum on top of my Pink Pirouette layer and popped that up off the base of Crumb Cake and matching DSP. Some simple twine and a gold embossed (you can hardly tell, I know) sentiment finish it up perfectly.

I may have also (but forgotten about) added some Wink of Stella to the flowers and also some tiny white dots for flower centres using a white Signo pen.
