Happy Friday! We're back with our latest Just Add Ink challenge and this week we have a Choose Two challenge!
So this one was pretty easy for me, I don't have deer stamps or paper so I had no choice but to go with trees and sparkle!
Since I don't do traditional Christmas I stepped out of the box with this one. I found several tutorials on YouTube for using scraps and a couple of them were for layering strips left over onto window sheets and making shapes. Since I had a lot of scraps I thought this technique was perfect! Once I worked out the pattern I stuck them all down very carefully with our green glue onto the window sheet and then using the Stitched Triangles cut out the biggest one to make a 'tree'. The colours were inspired by our own Christmas tree!
Once I had my tree cut I layered Polished Pink and Shimmery White cardstock. I did a bit of a wash on the Shimmery White and stamped over the top of that. To finish the card I layered an old retired die cut and added some bling and ribbons.
So a little out of the box but a great technique to try, especially if you don't do traditional Christmas like me!
As always, please check out all the other fab inspiration on the Just Add Ink blog!
