Happy Friday everyone! Today we have a new Just Add Ink Challenge for you - a 'Choose Two' challenge!





I love an easy challenge but this week I've been playing with a lot of watercolouring (and no stamping!) for various cards so I decided to use this for this challenge card too!

If you are familiar with my blog you'll know I love my blues and purples and pinks and I'm not so big on my earthy colour tones. Well I decided to step out of my box and try to use some and I ended up with Sweet Sorbet and Pale Papaya and I must say I'm not too displeased with the results!

Choosing foliage meant I had to find some leaf dies and I don't have many of those so I went with an old retired set, Flourish Thinlits. I started by randomly applying ink to watercolour paper (Fluid 100) in the two colours. While that was drying I used new mask and some Pale Papaya ink on my white layer. The base is Sweet Sorbet with an embossed layer of the same colour. By the time I had done these things the watercolour had dry and I cut out the three leaves and popped them off my white layer with dimensionals. I found some old Calypso Coral ribbon which I thought tied in nicely and added a die-cut 'Thanks' (with Wink of Stella) and some Pale Papaya glitter dots.
