Gosh, September already! These Friday's are coming around quickly! This week at Just Add Ink we have an inspiration challenge for you!





Such a gorgeous image! This inspiration challenge suited my style perfectly!

I started my project by picking colours out of the image and then needed to choose what to do with them! I went for a simple background of strips of colours, die cut and then layered with an embossed vellum piece to bring the boldness down a little. I chose some flowers I had not used in a while, All Things Fabulous and stamped those in Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody. I was out of practice lining these up but I love the fact they are a triple-stamp set where you can use different colours to get more of a depth to the flower.

I added some leaves under the flowers (I have never used so much Pacific Point as I have in the latest couple of challenges!), a simple heat embossed sentiment in gold and some Champagne rhinestones to finish my project.
