It's Friday again which means it's time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and this week we've been asked to 'Just Add H' by Tina!
I thought this week's challenge would be the perfect opportunity to create a Valentine's card for hubby using hearts and Happy Valentine's Day!
This was a really quick and easy card to make! I started with a die-cut from the Bloomin' Heart thinlits and used a sponge brayer to create an ombre effect with Wisteria Wonder, Perfect Plum and Elegant Eggplant. Using Shimmery White cardstock for the die-cut made the colours all sparkly which unfortunately you can't see in the photos.
To complete the card I simply layered the die-cut over a whisper white sheet embossed with the Sweetheart embossing folder and the sentiment from an old set called Good Greetings on top of the die-cut. I finished off the inside with the matching stamp from the coordinating set Bloomin' Love and a sentiment from another older set Cottage Greetings. It was quite frustrating that none of my newer sets had any sentiments similar to what I used! Anyway, I hope you enjoy the card!
Don't forget to stop by and check out the creations of the rest of the Design Team. I hope you find the time to create and join in the challenge!
