Today I have a card for you for the latest Global Design Project challenge #127, a Sale-A-Bration theme challenge!



Like everyone else I've fallen in love with the Blossoming Basket bundle that was released during the second phase of Sale-A-Bration and I couldn't wait to have a go at painting those beautiful blooms!

I have managed to have a play with the Blossoming Basket stamp set but had used the Stampin' Blends. While I love the Blends I do prefer my watercolouring. So I started my image and wanted to leave it simple as the main focus of the card with lovely bright blooms so I used Melon Mambo on the flowers. I used Soft Suede for the basket and a mix of Old Olive and Wild Wasabi for the leaves leaving those subtle so that the flowers stood out. I think the whole blooming basket turned out great!

To finish it off and keep it simple I coloured in a small length of white ribbon with the light Pink Pirouette Blends marker and layered that under a simple greeting embossed on Basic Black.
