Today I thought I would share with you my card I sent my gorgeous Mum for Mother's Day yesterday.
I try to stick to flowers when sending my Mum a card because it's something that I can't actually do (florists won't deliver to her as she is too remote). I initially had intended to use my favourite set Birthday Blooms but trying to remember back I think that's what I sent her last year, and perhaps also for her birthday!
I settle on the gorgeous Petal Passion DSP and coloured the flowers in Pink Pirouette and Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends with Old Olive for the leaves. This made for a stunning background layer that really didn't need much else than the little black banner, Whisper White ribbon and stitched circle with sentiment, I didn't want to cover too many of those flowers!
