Welcome to a new challenge for Just Add Ink! We are running challenge #425 this week and have a fabulous inspiration pic suggested by Kelly!





There's so much to take from this picture, the fabulous country feeling, beautiful flowers or just the colours! I wanted to keep the lovely spring feeling since we are having pretty miserable weather here in Sydney so I chose to go with the flowers and the colours.

For my starting point I pulled out my retired Blended Bloom stamp and coloured it using Flirty Flamingo and Lovely Lipstick Blends. I kept the white fence inspiration and used some of the Wood Textures DSP in my background. I layered some Mint Macaron DSP and Powder Pink cardstock and placed them under my Bloom along with some leaf die cuts in Soft Sea Foam and Berry Burst. To keep it pretty simple I stamped the sentiment directly onto the DSP and embossed it in silver.

Sorry the pictures aren't that wonderful, there's no sunshine in Sydney at the moment. The card does look really lovely in natural light and I'm happy with the way it turned out.
