Welcome to Tuesday! I'm back with a card today for the latest What Will You Stamp? Challenge #200. I was asked to join this week as a guest designer for winning challenge #197 - Signs of Santa, you can see my card here. This week's challenge #200 is using the Merry Christmas To All set from the 2018 Holiday Catalogue.
I have made 3 different sets of Christmas cards with this bundle this year, it's such a versatile set and can be used in so many ways and styles.
The card I'm showing you today is the card I made for my family and friends this year for Christmas, hopefully they will have all been received by now but maybe not as they were posted a little late!
If you look at all my past Christmas cards you will see I'm not much for using the traditional Christmas colours of green and red and most tend to come out in blues and silvers. My card today is not overly different. For this card I went for a colour combination of Balmy Blue, Sahara Sand, Basic Black and Whisper White with some retired glimmer thrown in in Bermuda Bay. As they were being posted, and due to mass production, I have kept them relatively simple. The only layering I used was the Sahara Sand embossed layer and the popped up Christmas sentiment, the rest was layered flat with no dimensionals.
If you were not going to post your cards this could easily be stepped up with dimensional layers and some enamel shapes or even just some rhinestones. Thankfully this set is carrying through to at least the end of May, 2019 but bundle pricing is only available until 2nd January, 2019 when the Holiday Catalogue comes to an end.
