Welcome to our laterst Just Add Ink challenge! This week we are asking you to add 'Under The Sea' to your projects!





If ever we have done a challenge and I have found it difficult then this tops them all *lol*. I have no stamps featuring anything from 'Under The Sea' so when a fellow teamie suggested the new Hippo Sale-A-Bration set I thought I had it covered. I mean, who doesn't love a scuba diving hippo?

Turns out I still struggled! I stamped and cut my hippo, coloured it and cut the goggles and snorkel in I don't know how many colours! I literally played with this card for a week, struggling to get my hippo to appear from under the sea *lol*. In the end I watercoloured some Shimmery White cardstock using Night of Navy and Balmy Blue ink. I die cut that into a 'bubble' (circle) using the Stylish Shapes dies.I chose Night of Navy as my base and embossed layer to represent the deep ocean and added a small strip of Balmy Blue as 'the surface'. I used a sentiment from the Hippo set and trimmed it down and paired it with a multi-layered die cut 'hooray'.

I used some Starry Sky ribbon, which looks so much more Navy to me than actually Starry Sky, and the last touch was the epoxy droplets which I placed to appear as breathing bubbles.
