Welcome to our latest Just Add Ink challenge! This week we have a sketch challenge for you!
I was so pleased to see this sketch, such a simple one but it meant such a wide variety of possibilities! I took the chance to make a nice country-ish birthday card.
Cards don't get much more simple than this! Crumb Cake base, Basic White layer and a layer of DSP from the retired Pansy Petals pack which I believe is Soft Succulent. I used the Cottage Rose stamp set and matching dies to cut a flower stamped in Memento. I coloured the flower in Stampin' Blends using soft purples, Purple Posy and Fresh Freesia, and greens, Mint Macaron and Just Jade, for the leaves.
I popped up the flower as well as the white layer using Dimensionals and finished it off with a Copper-embossed sentiment, some White twine and some pearls.
There Design Team has come up with such a wide range of ideas all based on our sketch. I hope you drop by the Just Add Ink blog and check them out and that it inspires you to give our challenge a go.
