Welcome again to our latest Just Add Ink Challenge and this week we have a 'Choose Two' challenge for you!





I assumed this challenge would be relatively easy and had planned to use Banners and Pastels but nothing about my card this week came out as planned! I started working with the Subtles colour range and that very quickly fell apart and it wasn't until I finished this second attempt at the challenge that my first idea came together but now I'll save that for another challenge.

I have really quickly fallen in love with the new colour 'Bubble Bath' and when looking at our range of colours decided it worked really well with Melon Mambo, a colour I very rarely use! So my card very quickly turned into a Pastels and Baby card. I had to create my own background as I don't yet have any DSP in Bubble Bath so I used the Artistic Masks with Bubble Bath ink on Bubble Bath cardstock to create the subtle background layer. I am very limited in my baby stamps so I went with an old favourite 'A Little Wild'. I coloured the bear with another new colour 'Pecan Pie' and used some slight Bubble Bath on the ears.

I kept the rest of the card pretty simple with some 'Welcome' and 'B-A-B-Y' die cuts and the tiny flowers are from the Hippo dies.
