Welcome to another Just Add Ink challenge and this week we sure do have a doozy of a colour challenge for you!
I think along with most of the team this one indeed was a challenge! I could count on one hand how many times in my 10+ years with Stampin' Up! that I have used Cajun Craze! Luckily I had some cardstock from a mixed pack from when I first started that was enough to get this challenge done!
Cajun Craze would be the only colour of SU's that I don't have ink for so the challenge was to make it look like I did! I always find difficult colour challenges easiest when I keep it simple and the only way I could think of to make it look like I had ink was to clear emboss. My base is Pretty Peacock and I die cut the 3 panels with the Stitched Rectangle dies. On each colour I stamped in Versamark the floral image from the Happiness Abounds stamp set and embossed in clear.
This card was really simple to put together, layering all the panels on white I then added some unravelled twine, my sentiment and some sequins to finish. Not the worst card I have ever done but for a colour I dislike I think I did OK.
I know this challenge was difficult for most of the team so please do go show them some love. You can find all their links on the JAI blog.
