I'm happy to have you here for our latest Just Add Ink Challenge! This week we have a gorgeous inspiration image for you!





I really love the colours in this image so I decided to keep those as part of my inspiration.

I chose an old cake image and embossed it in white on Fluid 100. I coloured the cake in Pecan Pie, Blackberry Bliss and Garden Green. I also added some light Balmy Blue around the image just to set it off. I took my paper snips to the edge of the Fluid 100 paper to rough it up some.

I used a Blackberry Bliss base and layer which I embossed and splattered with Champagne Mist to keep with a bit of a rustic feel. I used some Linen thread just tied around the embossed layer and then popped up my image and sentiment. Lastly I added some more Champagne Mist to the flowers on the cake to give it a bit of shimmer and added some Rhinestone Jewels which I had coloured using the dark Blackberry Bliss Blends marker.
