Happy Friday and welcome to our latest Just Add Ink Challenge. This week our challenge is to 'Add Rainbows'!





I decided this was the perfect challenge to use to make hubby's birthday card however rainbows are usually 'pretty' and 'girly'. I chose a slightly different route with my rainbow and decided on a really bold colour choice that would make it seem a little masculine.

I chose Brights and Regals - Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Pretty Peacock, Azure Afternoon, Blueberry Bushel, Gorgeous Grape and Blackberry Bliss - to make my rainbow. Cutting each colour into 1-inch strips I took to each strip with the Fringe Scissors. The strips were then simply layered over each other to give a bit of a pinata vibe. I added the sentiment from 'Sweetly Scripted' but only stamped some of the tails of the sentiment so it wasn't so girly.

I applied a bit of Wink of Stella randomly to the 'rainbow' and some simple white twine to finish.





This turned out to be such an easy card to make with very little time involved. I hope to see your 'rainbow' enter our challenge.
