Here we are at yet another Friday, can you believe Christmas is getting so close? Well Just Add Ink are not done yet for the year, today we have a new challenge and we are asking you to add Fruit!





I really struggled with this one, I do not have anything 'Fruit' in my supplies however I was closely looking at all my die sets and I found the tiniest strawberry die! Hallelujah!

As the strawberry die was so small it was never going to be able to be the main focus of my card so I decided to use a new bundle called Cake Celebrations and add the strawberries as a 'topping' on my cake. I watercoloured some Fluid 100 with Berry Burst, Blackberry Bliss, Melon Mambo and Summer Splash (a few fruity names there too) and used the dies from the bundle to cut out my pieces of the cake. The banner on the cake is Bubble Bath and Basic Beige. Since I wanted the cake to stand out I used a subtle base and layer of Bubble Bath. I coloured some Pearls with Melon Mambo Blends and added my simple sentiment.
