Welcome to our latest Just Add Ink Challenge! This week we have a quirky colour challenge for you!





This card turned out to be one of the quickest I had made in a while. When I saw the colours I had a rough idea of what my card would be like but I think I like the outcome better than what I imagined.

While I really enjoy creating challenging cards I also appreciate the need for simple cards and cards that don't take me all day to put together. Starting with my base of Smoky Slate I added a white layer and a DSP layer. I die cut some flowers from the Linked Together Dies and the heart from the Heart Shaped SAB Dies. I coloured the heart using Soft Sea Foam Blends and the flowers using ink and water painters, trying to keep the look soft and not too vibrant.

I mixed and matched and added some embellishments and the 'thanks' is using the Well Written Dies and cut twice, once from Basic White and coloured with Smoky Slate Blends, and the other from Smoky Slate card stock, then layered on top of each other to pop it up a bit.
