Welcome to our latest Just Add Ink Challenge! This week we are having fun with Christmas in July!





I am one of those people that mostly leaves Christmas until the last minute so having to think about it in July, well I just prefer not to. On top of that I don't usually do a lot of Christmas cards, so here goes...

When I do actually make a Christmas card they are always non-traditional, I just can't seem to do red and green. I did a card a few weeks back with new colour Secret Sea, yellow and gold and I really liked that colour combo so I chose to do Secret Sea again but this time I only used gold and white. I have a simple base of Secret Sea and stamped layer. I tore some retired gold glimmer paper (146958) and a smaller Basic White piece which I had already embossed. I splattered some gold ink over and stamped some little stars I found in the Sweet Little Stocking stamp set in the same.

After letting the gold ink dry I added a gold-embossed tree using the Perfectly Plaid stamp and punch. A simple two-part sentiment and some gold thread finishes the card.
