This week our challenge at Just Add Ink is to Just Choose Two - Kids, Pets or Patterned Paper. Lots of possibilities with these combinations but in the end I chose to add kids and patterned paper.
So choosing kids I wanted to make something fun and vibrant. I chose to use a set I haven't used very often, Cool Treats. This stamp set is really quite suited to using for kids birthdays with lots of fun ice cream images and awesome sentiments.
I used my patterned paper as my backdrop to my luscious ice cream cone. I watercoloured each scoop of the ice cream by pressing my stamp into the ink in various yummy colours and then spritzing with water and stamping onto watercolor paper. I finished the ice cream by pressing my scoops into Versamark and embossing with clear embossing powder. Lastly I added some of the divine new Fresh Fig Sheer ribbon and a little bit of Mini Sequin Trim (because you have to have bling, right?) around the card.
I hope you liked my card. Pop on over to Just Add Ink to see lots more insipration from the teams and perhaps join in yourself!
