Welcome back to our latest Just Add Ink Challenge wher this week we are CASE'ing oursleves!





This challenge meant we really had no restrictions but to recreate our own card, my problem with that was which one do I recreate?

After a bit of think and going back over my blog I decided to CASE the card I did for my 2nd entry to a Just Add Ink challenge - and the first time I won! This was for JAI #305 and it was a sketch challenge. You can see my original post for this card HERE.



I decided to keep the same idea of the sketch but wanted to take a 2022 take on the stamps and colours. I went with new In Colors Starry Sky and Tahitian Tide, and older greens Granny Apple Green and Mossy Meadow.

With a bit of masking I embossed some of the flowers onto some Fluid 100 and watercoloured them with Water Painters. Once dry the panel was cut into 3. I used some matching ribbon and coloured some Polished Dots with Stampin' Blends. I jazzed my 2022 version up a bit by emobssing a later under my watercolouring and adding embellishments.





I can't decide which card I prefer. I love the softness of the original card but then I like the boldness of my CASE. Do you have a favourite?
