Welcome to our latest Just Add Ink Challenge! This week we are asking you to add a celebration to your projects!





A celebration could be anything really. Christmas, birthdays, a new baby, a graduation, someone achieving a life goal, a teenager getting their driving license - there are just so many! My card wasn't going to start out as a birthday card but halfway through the project it became one because I needed one in a hurry!

My card is a Pretty Peacock base with an embossed Distressed Tile layer. I added a white layer on top with a more subtle Tasteful Textile embossing. My flowers are the eternally gorgeous Layers of Beauty, stamped in Memento and coloured using the masks and Strawberry Slush and Lost Lagoon ink. These have been simply die cut, popped up off the layers and trimmed to fit the card. The right side is an offcut that was just too pretty to throw away and is glued straight onto the base. I've embossed a simple sentiment and added some retired Strawberry Slush ribbon and some glitter gems.
