Welcome to our latest Just Add Ink Challenge! This week we have a Choose Two (or more) challenge for you!





Well this challenge just leans itself towards Christmas cards, doesn't it! Not needing any more Christmas cards I decided to change it up and do a birthday card - because I always need those!!

I've used a semi-new set called Long Time No See and it's so cute! I stamped up two of these llamas, alpacas, whichever they are meant to be, in Memento ink. I coloured a masculine (?) scarf in Blends using Highland Heather, Fresh Freesia and Granny Apple Green, and then a more girly version in Lemon Lime Twist, Bubble Bath and Fresh Freesia. I used Copic marks for their fur using slightly darker browns for the male and rosier cheeks and ears for the female. This covered Stripes as my first choice and then I chose shimmer as my second using some retired Sparkle Glimmer Paper (146957). I cut some banners using the retired Bonanza Dies (151566) and then coloured them with Fresh Freesia Blends. I added some more shimmer to the scarves with a bit of Wink of Stella.

Putting the card together I used a Fresh Freesia base and layer and found some snowy type DSP in Fresh Freesia in the Penguin Playmates DSP. Putting the layers all together I added my coloured banners and my animals to the card, popping the banners up a smidge with glue dots and the animals with dimensionals. My sentiment is just a fun birthday sentiment from the Darling Dinos stamp set and embossed white on Basic Black cardstock. My finishing touches were the Purple Adhesive Backed Sequins.
