Welcome to our latest Just Add Ink challenge! This week we have another letter challenge for you, Tina has asked us to add 'J' to our projects!
I have to admit this challenge really stumped me! The only 'J' thing I had in my supplies was the Jar of Love stamp set so I had to get creative for this one!
I decided in the end to do a bit of a 'jungle' card, perhaps stretching the 'J' friendship a little, but hey. I got the Animal Outing stamp set from SU, I think it was April 2018 OnStage in Sydney, but I still hadn't used it so I wanted to give it a crack. Initially I had no idea what sort of card it was going to become and slowly it evolved into a baby card. I don't know what a large rhino has to do with babies but the little birdie was cute enough so what they hay!
I started out with the Basic Gray base to match my rhino which was done with Stampin' Blends in Smoky Slate and Ivory for the horn (Flirthy Flamingo for the little birdie). I did use a bit of Color Lifter on the horn to lighten it so it looked a bit more natural. I stuck with the pink colours from the bird and used Powder Pink and Flirty Flamingo for the die cuts and the DSP is a retired piece from the Naturally Eclectic pack.
Well I hope you liked my card for this week's challenge and that somehow it's inspired you to join in, we really love seeing everyone's interpretations of each challenge. Thanks for stopping by!
